Our family LOVED this house, and we can't wait to stay again in the summer so we can use the pool! Fantastic space - a gorgeous kitchen with two dining areas, a huge great room where a large family can gather, and comfortable bedrooms. Despite the age of the house, the amenities are modern and make the stay pleasant. Good communication in advance, and we didn't need to contact Stay Charlottesville for anything during our stay. Recommend highly!

Our stay was very peaceful and pleasant! The size and amenities of the house were perfect for our group, and we were all very comfortable during our stay! The hosts were responsive and helpful, and the guidelines were clear. The grounds and area are beautiful, and the cafe down the road was a perfect spot for breakfast. Our group had a wonderful girls weekend, thanks to the amazing location and property of Colle Estate! We couldn’t have asked for a more picturesque, comfortable, and private location! The pool was incredible, we felt like we were at a villa, and it definitely made the weekend. Another amazing asset was the walkability of this property! It was so nice that our group was able to walk to the market at the end of the driveway, and to Jefferson Vineyards! The proximity of downtown Charlottesville was so convenient, but we honestly didn’t want to leave Colle once we were there! Very comfortable beds and amenities, and we felt very taken care of by the hospitality of David next door and Stay Charlottesville! Everyone in our group hopes we can one day come back!

We loved our stay at the Colle House! Such a peaceful location with beautiful landscaping and lots of open areas to frolic. We took full advantage of the beautiful pool the entire weekend, which was the perfect temperature and such a treat during the hot summer. Amazing location - there is a little market right at the end of the driveway and the Jefferson Vineyards are right across the street!

We booked the historic Colle Estate for our son's graduation from UVA. We had 9 guests spread out in 6 bedrooms, with as many bathrooms to serve our needs. The property is stunning, peaceful, historic and welcoming. Thanks to our host we were able to make dinner reservations at the private Common House (even during graduation weekend). The large kitchen and multiple dining areas allowed us to bring in our own groceries (for breakfast & various in-between meals) and we even had a catered lunch delivered for a fun family gathering. The house is just 10-20 minutes from all the areas of Cville we visited which made it easy to get to UVA and several local restaurants in the downtown area. Being outside the hustle of the city also allowed us for some special memories. We visited Monticello (just a couple miles away) and enjoyed wine and cheese directly across the street at the Jefferson Vineyard. We even enjoyed apple cider, apple donuts, and apple pie from the Carter Mountain Orchard.
