We stayed here for UVA Graduation weekend. The house is very conveniently located. It is at the end of the Downtown Mall so there are many restaurants within walking distance. Additionally, Wegman's was just down the street in the opposite direction. Nancy is an amazing hostess. She was very proactive in providing me with great information about the area and how to best get around. We had rented the whole house for the weekend so she provided me with her cell phone number just in case I needed anything. If you are in Charlottesville to site see or if you are there for an event on UVA's grounds then I'd highly recommend staying here.

Nancy was so thoughtful in her communication and incredibly helpful when we had questions about the house. It’s such a quirky home that was fun to stay in at a perfect walking distance from downtown. We hope to visit again!

I rented Nancy’s entire home for the weekend of my Charlottesville wedding for the bridal party to stay in. I don’t think Nancy typically rents out the entire space as it is her primary residence. So while it did have quite a few of her personal effects, the space was clean and tidy. There was plenty of room for 8-9 girls to stay at a time and get ready the day of the wedding. There is a cat, Col Mustard, that lives there so good for people with any allergies to be aware. Nancy was very responsive to messages throughout the weekend for any questions, which was much appreciated.

Avon house is terrific. The location is superb. Belmont is a cute neighborhood with a lot of great restaurants within easy walking distance to downtown Charlottesville and not far from the University. The host is welcoming, informative, and easy to communicate with. The check-in process could not have been smoother. I highly recommend staying here to anyone visiting Charlottesville from out of town.
