Staff at Cabot Shores, and especially Paul were efficiently and immediately responsive to our needs. We enjoyed our stay and appreciated getting to chat with Paul and learning about the development of this unique facility. We appreciated Paul’s commitment to protecting the environment through recycling, solar use and by growing vegetables and raising egg laying hens. Perhaps renters with pets should be given a heads up that the cabins have ant traps. The outside air was pleasant so keeping the windows open was great, but screens on all the windows would be helpful in keeping the mosquitoes out.

Beautiful spot! The property is so lovely. We just wanted to spend the days on the river, enjoying the perfectly appointed amenities. Paul has paid attention to every detail and it really shows. Great experience.

This place is amazing! It is very well described in the posting, but I enjoyed it even more than I thought I would. It is unbelievably handy to have such good food so easily available at such a good price. The staff are wonderful- friendly and helpful! They even found us a thermometer for our sick baby. They also have great recommendations for exploring the area. All around great stay.

This space is georgous. Right at the foot of the Cabot Trail. As the resort it actually is - it's great. However, I have a problem with the fact they use airbnb to attract guests. It is not a bed and breakfast. It's a resort which uses airbnb in order to fill out bookings. It lacks essential amenities found in most airbnb listings, such as a complimentary breakfast, anything left in the cabin (snacks etc...) and it also charges tax upon check-in. The space was clean, staff were friendly and the views incredible. But it's an actual resort and unlike most places you'd see on airbnb.
