Great location near Cape Breton. Very cozy and clean chalet. Perfect for a family getaway and the staff are very helpful with local tips and recommended hikes.

The tan chalet was amazing. It’s located about 100 feet off the water. The chalet rents kayaks, paddle boards and canoes for 37-40 dollars for half day usage which is easy to book. Fire wood can be bought onsite and for those not wanting to take advantage of the full kitchen you can eat at the bistro. Breakfast is about 4$ per person and the one night we ate dinner there it was buffet style which was amazing. They offered mussels, curry dishes, amazing lamb and chicken assorted veggies and desserts. Everything you purchase while there is just added to you bill and check out was easy. If you choose to cook for yourself stop on the way for groceries Because the closest grocery store is a fresh mart in ingonish which is expensive and doesn’t offer a lot of choice. The service at the chalet was amazing and Paul was great. We had an issue with the hot tub and he came right over and found an solution. He also jams at night sometimes which my husband loved. Overall our time at Cabot shores was amazing and has a community feel to it. It’s quiet, people are friendly and staff are amazing. We drove the entire Cabot trail from here and stopped at various hiking trails and beaches. It took the entire day but the location is just as good as any as a starting point for the trail.

Spent a couple of amazing nights. Loved it. Paul and the staff are very very helpful. On the first day we couldn’t figure out how to get the AC working and Paul personally came by at 10:30pm at night and helped us out. He gave us a bunch of tips on places to visit around. Also saw him helping out another family with a bon Fire. The place is clean and the location is great and we loved the pulley boat near the pebble beach.
