Our stay couldn’t have been better. The cottage is even nicer in real life - we loved sitting out overlooking the fields. The place was spotless, and perfect for a couple looking to get away. We’ll be back!
Such a cute little cottage with everything you need to have a relaxing stay! Its warm and cosy and the welcome hamper was a delight! It feels like you're in a rural setting but the town of Aylsham is only a few minutes drive away and has everything you need, including some great pubs, groceries and a steam railway. The cottage is also perfectly located for exploring further afield too. I cant wait to come back!
Acorn Cottage is even better than the pictures! We had an absolutely WONDERFUL time relaxing in this adorable place. It was quiet, serene, and beautiful. We even made friends with the cows! The welcome basket included delicious cheese and coffee, the cottage was absolutely spotless when we arrived, and the team at Rural Retreats was incredibly responsive and friendly. Can't recommend this place highly enough!
