Overall a good experience. Chris was very communicative and fair -- the grill had been broken by the previous tenants, which was disappointing, but Chris more than made it up to us by allowing us to check-out whenever we wanted on the final day. All of the outdoor area is great. The deck is huge, overlooking the river, which provided us with a refreshing and secluded swimming hole. The path down is a little rocky, but fine for those willing to scramble. The pool was great too. The inside of the house was ok; the place had a slightly smokey smell, was a little generally dirty, and the pull-out mattress is tough. Strange that toilet paper is not able to be flushed down the toilets, unexpected in an updated house. Some areas seem slightly hazardous (between pool/deck), so wouldn't recommend for families. The A/C worked great though, and the house was definitely serviceable. In summary, we were happy to sacrifice a little on the interior for a beautiful and secluded outdoor area.

You can’t beat the location. If you’re trying to go be in nature, this is the house for you.

Chris is a great host! We reached out to him a few times to ask things about the place and he always answered within one hour. The place has a gorgeous view and the pool is just perfect. My entire group appreciated the stay, and Chris helped us in every way to have a better experience.

Third year in a row staying at Chris’s place. He has been such a tremendous host. Me and my family are so thankful for finding this home. We have loved the location, the creek, and the home itself. It’s just perfect for my family. Chris was always very helpful and was easy to get a hold of. He even gave us a late checkout for free this year. Which was so so helpful & so kind. Thank you again!!
