This was the most comfortable, relaxing stay along our three week family vacation. I will NEVER stay in another Redding hotel after this. Michele was an amazing hostess and welcomed my three children and myself as if we had been friends forever. I’ve recommended this place in person to others and will continue to sing its praises. It was safe, clean, affordable, and had the amenities important to our family including the snack basket😉. The presentation of the images do NOT do this spacious cottage justice! It exceeded every expectation we had.

This is my second time staying at Michele’s place and once again it was absolutely amazing. This is definitely my place to stay whenever I visit Redding.

I'm a host so I tend to be picky but Michele's Hummingbird Cottage is not only a great deal (with a reasonable cleaning fee) but it is quiet, peaceful, private and very comfortable. The cottage is bigger than I expected and set apart from the main house so that you feel you have your own place. Michele was very easy to communicate with and is obviously an experienced host with a big heart. Highly recommended.
