All thing was perpect. The apartment was big and clean. He usually made dinner for me. He is smart and kind. I will visit here again~!

this is an interesting space in a 17th century building. Elio has renovated it. Our bedroom was large and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was small but it had everything we needed. We explored Firenze from this place because the train station is only 2 minutes from the apartment and it is an 18 minute ride into Firenze S.M.N. Signa is also a nice little town. We enjoyed our week here.

Was a nice place to stay just outside the main city. Close to public transport. 5-10min walk to the train station and a 18min train trip into central Florence. Elio was a nice host who shared us some great places to visit around Florence. Would stay here again.

Elio is a most generous and hospitable host. He waited outside for me to arrive, cooked me pasta with tomato & ricotta, and even bought me an espresso before I left. He is also highly knowledgable and we had interesting conversation about local history, politics, and his database of digitised Italian manuscripts. The room itself is a good size, clean and not too hot - which is impressive for Florence in June! You can hear the occasional car driving past at night, but it didn't disturb my sleep. Light sleepers may wish to take earplugs, but this applies to most rooms in Italy. The location (Signa) is about 15 mins from central Florence by train, and the train station is 2 mins walk from the house. Very easy. I would highly recommend this place, and Elio as a host.
