值得推荐的住处。 1. 房东和蔼可亲，热情周到。帮助安排交通工具和去野生动物园的吉普车，价格特别合理。 2.距离石窟只有10分钟左右的路程。早可以观日出和腾空而起的热气球，晚上可观日落。 3.房间干净明亮，庭院宽敞美丽。地处安静，鸟语花香。

We had a nice stay here, the people were very welcoming and changed our room for us when our A/C was not working. The place itself is in a nice location, beautiful garden. I would say it was just missing a few little bits to make it nicer, teas and coffees etc. Also some mosquito and cockroach spray for the bathroom would have been nice.

The room looked so much better than the photos. It had floor to ceiling windows that also function as doors for you to step out into the balcony. There's a nice view of the front garden when you draw (open) the curtains. The room was really spacious. The bed was big and had a wide mosquito net hanging from the ceiling. The place is surrounded by trees and so expect mosquitoes, but also the wonderful sight of monkeys and squirrels. The house is relatively new (in April 2023). AC was working well. Don't expect high standards for bathrooms in Sri Lanka for listings at this really good price range. The shower's water pressure was okay. Just wait about five minutes or so for the water heater to give you your hot shower. There was one night when there was no running water in the bathroom but the water was back after an hour or two. I didn't use the wifi. Instead, get a local sim card with data and you will find that it works way better than wifi. Communication with the host was very good.

Cozy, clean, and well-furnished apartment with a big yard. Perfect place for a holiday. No power cuts in this area - a huge plus these times. Janaka also took care of all the transportation that we needed (he drives a tuktuk), and also patiently waited until we were done with sightseeing in Sigiriya and Polonnaruwa and other places, so he can drive us back home. That was exceptional care we didn't expect. He also prepared us a super delicious king-size breakfast. That was a great Sri Lanka experience!
