Loved the location! Walkable to a Greta park with views of Mt. Hood and plenty of restaurants and cafes in White Salmon. Also just a 10 minute drive to Hood River. Highly recommend.

We had a great time at this cottage with a spectacular view of Mt. Hood from the front deck and the kitchen window. It was cloudy on some days, but there was always a clear moment when Mt. Hood was visible. White Salmon is a charming small town and this home is located so close to the downtown area, it was easy to walk to bakeries, restaurants, and the local park. Appreciate that the home is dog friendly too. The home was smaller than we expected - it is a detached home with 1 bed, 1 bath, a small kitchen and small living room. There was just enough space for 2 of us, though additional photos of the unit would have helped manage our expectations about the space. We overall enjoyed our stay, the convenient location, and the view!

Great location and nice view. Walking to shops, bars, restaurants, park and the neighborhood is cute. The house has a full kitchen and there is a propane grill. There is a mini fridge. Sunnie was flexible when we requested to stay another night. There were some issues with the stay, some that are just normal house stuff (two light bulbs needed to be changed) and some bigger stuff; a couch leg broke on our first night. The hosts aren't local so it couldn't be fixed. We stacked some books under it and it stayed but we wanted to be very careful. Not being able to move freely to and from the couch was a bit annoying but I think it kept us from being too lazy 😊 Sunnie was open to feedback regarding any issue we had and she was very kind. We didn't spend too much time in White Salmon. Some of the bars and restaurants haven't updated their information so we found out the hard way that things are closed or close early due to the pandemic. We spend a lot of time in Hood River. We had a nice time and love that the spot was dog friendly.
