The place is beautiful in a good location, a lot to do, gondolas, skiing, shopping, good restaurants, markets, wonderful views. On the downside the path to the house was a challenge, specially for older people, it was very steep and narrow carrying luggage.

Fortunately Zermatt is such a beautiful place and we didn't have to spend much time in the AirBnb. The description of the place was accurate and provides an excellent view of the Matterhorn from the deck. However, for 2 of the 3 nights we didnt have hot water (this was brought to the property mgmt attention and not resolved during our stay), dining room chairs were broken rendering them unusable for a party of 11, the grill in the kitchen was broken, the grill on the deck was unusable, the vanity in a downstairs bedroom leaked, and there was an active hornets nest outside of our children's bedroom. Property mgmt did come to spray the nest, but it resulted in toxic fumes within the home and hornets infiltrating the bedroom rendering that bedroom unusable. Property mgmt offered follow up assistance but never followed through. We attempted to make contact the following day but the office is closed on Wed and didn't answer the phone. Dont expect 1 hr responses as advertised via text.
