Nestled in the gorgeous mountains of Durango, located right near the Durango & Silverton Narrow Guage Railroad tracks, you'll find this mountain getaway specious for an entire family to sleep, complete with modern amenities including a full sized kitchen, 2 and a half baths and a 2 car garage! The home has a SONOS sound system in the kitchen, living room and master bath so you can enjoy some of the best wifi speakers during your stay. The beds are super comfortable, I believe they are foam mattresses, if you like a more firm bed it may not be your perfect fit but I slept like a baby! The master bedroom has a TV mounted on the wall, as does the living room. So, what's there not to like? The house does NOT have AC! If it's summer, and it's going to be 90 plus like it's been lately in Durango, this can be a problem, this weather has been abnormal for Durango! Also, the canyon can be a bit noisy when cars drive through if you sleep with your windows open (which you'll need to in the summer due to the AC). We had a harley barrel through and wake us up at 3am. This property is adjacent to the train tracks and you can see the train come by around 8:45AM and another one around 9AM which is super cool. Premier Vacation was super fast (less than 10 minutes) responsive before booking the property, and they addressed any concerns we had immediately.
