We were very happy with our stay at Mapis Cabins. The house had everything: AC, kitchen & utensils, bedrooms, small pool. The only thing is that there is not really an outdoor space where you can chill out (only 2 tables close to the pool), but we already knew this from the description. As we didn't have a car, it was hard to get to any places (15min walk to the closest grocery store and restaurant), but the owners were really nice and offered us car rides to everywhere we wanted to go. Very nice place and people, thank you!

This lil casita is exactly what I needed ! The onsite staff which incl. Ronny, Flor and Marleeny made me feel at home from day 1 and coming from me THAT means a lot. From guiding me to good eats to helping me with my Español, to getting me taxi drivers that were flexible enough for me. They will get involved and help you as much as YOU want and I chose (90% of the time) to pick their brains for local knowledge and just hang out with them. I know I have friends for life in those 3 kind gentle souls and hopefully the same with the owners, Frank and Nilda ! Like I've said before and I've told many people, it IS NOT the Hilton but I didnt pay Hilton prices. I paid a fraction of Hilton prices and I got a secure, safe & clean place with Macaws, Howler & Spider Monkeys, a buncha crazy birds and Hummingbirds in the trees around the casita and 5 friends for life....uh....make that 6 friends because a local dog I named Bones adopted me. So, a big huge thanks to all 6 ! PURA VIDA !

This place was perfect for our few day stay in Paquera. Check in was very easy and there was plenty of space to park next to the casita. I was worried about being next to the restaurant late at night on a Saturday but we could barely hear the music once the door was closed. It was perfect and budget friendly!

El lugar se ubica en un sitio perfecto cerca de restaurantes, supermercados, bancos, playas, etc. La atención del personal fue muy oportuna y las respuestas a diferentes preguntas fueron evacuadas con eficiencia y rapidez por parte de los anfitriones. Las recomendaciones de los Tours a realizar cumplieron las expectativas. Excelente lugar.
