I had stayed with Sheryl a couple of times before and as always, she has been very welcoming and helpful with helping me get around. The room is indeed very cosy and has a balcony perfect to pass the hot afternoon hours on. The location is great for enjoying walks to the nearby Elliot’s Beach. I would definitively come back again.

If you are looking for a convenient, clean, spacious, and quiet place to stay in Chennai, I would highly recommend Sheryl’s place. Plus you’ll get a chance to know one of the kindest, nurturing, and sweetest Airbnb hosts ever. Sheryl was so responsive before and during my stay to any questions, offered great historical spots to visit, tasty vegetarian restaurants, and overall just an amazing conversationalist. She was so kind to even invite and have me over for a wonderful home-cooked, traditional South Indian lunch she so thoughtfully prepared for me. Also, I was so touched by her and her family’s care for the cats in and outside of their home. In my opinion, you can tell a lot about a person by the way they treat animals - I could tell right away that Sheryl is a good-hearted person who will go out of her way to make you feel comfortable. I look forward to my next stay at her place. Thank you again! ❤️😊🙏🏼

While the home was gorgeous and full of character, what made our stay memorable was Sheryl’s ability to make us feel absolutely comfortable and welcome. The house is warm, decorated with antiques and beautiful wooden furniture. Very charming. The neighborhood is quiet, safe, and has everything you could need at a walking distance. Sheryl made sure we had everything we’d need in the house, and also helped us out with a few recommendations since it was our first time in Chennai. Overall, it didn’t feel like an airbnb stay, but more like visiting family. When in Chennai again we’d love to stay at Sheryl’s without a second thought.

Our stay at Sheryl's place was absolutely fantastic! The house is like a treasure trove of vintage charm, meticulously maintained. Sheryl went above and beyond, being super communicative and suggested us with some awesome local recommendations . Plus, she's just downright cool! Definitely give her place a go!

Sheryl’s place was absolutely nothing less of a home. She and her daughter were great hosts! Made us feel comfortable. Would definitely visit again. Would 10/10 recommend this place for anyone who loves to travel and meet new people.
