I consider myself so fortunate to have found Kathleen’s stylish and peaceful cabin while researching places to stay on the path of totality for the 2024 eclipse. It was absolutely perfect for the 2 couples we were. Plenty of space with 2 separate bedroom and baths. The wrap-around-round porch and outdoor pavilion were fantastic for the evening cocktail hour and dinner. There are a total of 3 cabins around.a pond. All of them have their own style and are equally fantastic. Kathleen and Sean are super friendly and responsive. Great hosts! They have a gem of a property in the cabins at Bear Creek. . So if you have any reason to be in the area or are looking for a country get a way- it is the place to stay!

We had a great stay! And the pond was a lot of fun for the kids to do some fishing.

I loved the cabin. It was very beautiful, clean and had a great pond beside it. My girls loved fishing there. They caught several small fish. The fire pit was nice too. We roasted marshmallows. The porch was lovely as well. I loved the rocking chairs on it. The only complaint I have is the sleeper sofas are not very comfortable in the living room to sleep on. Other than that, it was great!
