We had a wonderful time! It's a great place for a family vacation. We enjoyed the swimming pool and playing pool, canoe and kayaks, PacMan and watching the storms on the screened in porch. We will forever remember watching the total eclipse from the dock. Amazing! The beds were comfortable and it was a pleasant spacious home. The nearby frisbee golf course was a surprise bonus that was a lot of fun and a beautiful course. The only downside was the spotty internet which made it hard for those who needed to get some work done, but aside from that it was great!
Everything was great. Hosts were responsive and provided a lot of tools and amenities. Loved the pool house and fishing dock. Overall, would come back again!
This was the perfect home for our family getaway. We had 11 people and there was more than enough space for everyone for sleeping and gathering/eating in the open living area. There are big trees on both sides of the property, so it's shady for a good portion of the day and feels secluded from the houses next door. We went in mid-September, and the cove was pretty quiet. A few boats going by but nobody else near us using the lake. I don't recall seeing it in the listing, but there was a kayak and a stand up paddleboard to use and we loved having those. The house is clean and cozy and the setting is serene. Excellent stay!
This house is a hidden gem! A beautiful home, great access to the lake, pool, the turf yard made for lots of fun, and the pool house was amazing to hang out in!
Sleeps as many as described, but should be noted that there are only three private bedrooms and all other sleeping accommodations will be futons or the couch. May be fine for children or teens, but adults generally won’t be too comfortable unless they’re fortunate to get one of the bedrooms. Not really any privacy outside of the bedrooms in the main house. Overall the place was very nice - everyone in our group was impressed with the main house, the backyard area, and the pool house. Karaoke in the pool house was a fun, unexpected twist!
