This is our favorite resort in Lake Placid. It has all of the amenities of a resort with the feel of a private home. The room itself was clean and spacious. Check in and check out was quick and easy and the staff was pleasant. Our family had a blast in the game rooms, pool, hot tubs, and movie theatre. We enjoyed the smore's and ice cream parlor. We drove to town, which was only a few minutes away, and also enjoyed a couple days skiing Whiteface. Dinner at Kanu was just ok, but it was a restricted Valentines menu, so maybe normal days would be better. I was a little disappointed that breakfast wasn't included the way it is for all of the other resort guests, but that's likely a contract issue between the owners and the resort. This was also clearly stated on the contract, so it in no way was the fault of the owner. It just would have been nice to also have that be complementary. But aside from that very small detail, this trip was an extremely relaxing great family trip!

This place was awesome. Very clean, check in is just like your a guest of the resort. I normally read these reviews to find negatives to determine if this is the right fit for me and I'd like to provide something to help you make that call for yourself but there really wasn't anything negative about this listing. if you have a bad time here travel is not for you.
