An absolutely fantastic stay, Close enough to Portland where we could just take a quick hop to downtown to get a meal, and far enough away where you still got to feel nice and isolated. The beach down the way was a nice enough little walk and had some great sunrises. The Hosts we incredibly communicative before, during and after our stay and very willing to go the extra step to make sure we had an incredibly comfortable stay.

Amy's place is very clean and mostly as described. She has put a lot of effort and heart into this place that you can read about in her description and the reviews by others. However, this was a poor choice for us. We found both the bed and sofa to be soft and below average for comfort. The window air conditioners are loud on either air conditioning or basic fan settings. This combination made it difficult for us to sleep or enjoy time spent in the cottage. We left early and found something more comfortable for the last four days of our trip. This was an expensive decision because there is no refund for unsatisfied customers. At least we were able to enjoy most of our time in a more comfortable location.

I highly recommend this place for anyone! The cottage was spacious and close to the beach. The neighborhood is friendly and safe.

We absolutely loved our stay at Amy’s cottage. The location is fantastic, the cottage was clean and well equipped, and Amy was incredibly responsive and helpful prior to, and during, our stay. We’ll definitely come back to Maine soon and would be lucky to stay at Amy’s cottage again.
