Beautiful views quiet lovely place

Stayed here with my fiancée and our dog for a few days. We really enjoyed the beautiful view, daily deer sightings, the cozy living room, well equipped kitchen and the pool table/game room definitely made this a fun and unique stay. We also loved all the hiking around, especially Platte Cove & Kaaterskill Falls and had some great food at Selena's Diner down the street. Loved this place so much we didn't want to leave ❤️

Very quick and responsive host, very accommodating. An amazing view on open property and an incredible space to spend time in. The game room downstairs has everything from billiards, darts, and a poker table - to a bar, a sofa, and a wood burning stove. The upstairs is a cozy contrast with a full fireplace and floor to ceiling glass doors to a great view of the mountains and the stars at night. All the basic amenities (nice kitchen, two full bathrooms, reliable WiFi, etc) you’d want from a stay are there, plus all the extras.

I personally have mixed feelings about this location as, in my opinion, it is not worth the rental cost. Pros: -location close to everything in the area -fireplace, and provided wood for it -game room -grill (even though both propane tanks were empty) Cons: - A lot of clutter everywhere in the house, like someone is still living there with their stuff all around and stuff left behind from prior renters. i.e used toothbrushses in cabinet... which I get, if a friend is offering their house but not for a rental unit. Expired food in cabinets, empty liquor bottles, old toiletries, etc. -You need special instructions to operate the water in the shower. - Netflix, you can use your account, guest one is not existent even though it's been advertised. - No welcome kit
