My husband and I wanted to explore the Breckon Beacons on the motorbike and came across Vera & Ian’s place. We found it perfectly situated and lovely and peaceful. I honestly can’t fault their place, it was perfect. A lovely barn conversion with everything that you would need for a short stay. It was like home from home, cosy and welcoming. Vera & Ian met us on arrival and they were so accommodating. They suggested lots of places that we could visit and also some local restaurants. Were chose to eat in and the kitchen was very well equipped. We would definitely choose to stay here again if we are ever up in the area.

After deciding to visit Wales for my girlfriend’s birthday weekend, I couldn’t be happier with my choice. Vera and Ian are friendly and considerate hosts, and you have everything you could need and more! After some very long hikes, it was the perfect place to come back to and relax! It was very cosy and with breathtaking views. Thankyou again. We hope to return one day :)

We had a lovely stay - Vera and Ian were fantastic hosts, very helpful and friendly. The property was exactly as it appears in the photos, very spacious, beautifully renovated with everything you need for a comfortable multi-night stay, and with an incredibly well-equipped kitchen. The countryside is gorgeous and there are lots of beautiful walks within a short distance. Would highly recommend - also not far from Hay on Wye, which made it a great base for exploring Hay and a couple of days at the Hay Festival!

We could not have asked for a more perfect escape from London. The barn is a beautiful space with thoughtful decor. The kitchen is extremely well equipped (the best I have experienced in an Air BnB)! The barn was spotless and extremely comfortable with tonnes of outdoor space. We were looking for somewhere close to Pen y fan and Ian and Vera’s place was perfect. They were both extremely friendly, welcoming and helpful, but equally discreet. We were lucky to have wonderful weather over the weekend, so cooked in the kitchen and ate in the garden on the picnic table. It was also such a joy to be able to wake up and have a coffee in the summer house at the bottom of the garden, surrounded by nothing but greenery and the sounds of bird and sheep! Thank you very much to Vera and Ian for hosting us. If we could give you more than five stars, we would!
