Absolutely fantastic place! Highly recommend. It’s the little things that really make the difference in whether a place is good or great. This place is great! The little things that worked for us:- 1. Stair gate 2. Guard rail available for bunk 3. Night light (showing stars on the ceiling) in the kids bedroom 4. Bag with beach towels, bucket and spade for kids 5. Dark curtains in kids room to block out morning light - so we could have a little lie in 😁 6. Plenty of kids (and grown up) books to read 7. Box of Lego - our 5 and 2 year old loved it! 8. Welcome gift which was lovely (biscuits, wine etc. for us. Activity books for our daughter - really thoughtful) 9. Postcards, with stamps on! Our daughter wrote postcards for the first time! Lovely thought 10. Condiments etc. 11. Makeup remover mini towels! The most thoughtful hosts. Great location - short stroll to the beach. Lots of places to eat and a co-op a min away We loved it! Thanks Mel x

A perfect location for a family getaway! Our children adored Mel’s place - the bunk beds, the selection of toys/ games and thoughtful touches from Mel made our stay truly memorable. We loved being a short stroll from the beach and having a top coffee shop at the end of the building was wonderful each morning. We also discovered that Mel’s place is less than a mile to the local parkrun which made a great start to our Saturday! Mel is a brilliant host and we would love to stay here again in future.

Absolutely stunning little place. We felt at home immediately and it was very well equipped. I asked if I could bring my stair gate and when we arrived Mel had organised to have one fitted which was unbelievable helpful 🥰 We’re local so we love the area anyway but if you’re thinking of staying this is a fabulous little or gem. Excellent location for exploring our gorgeous part of the world. Thank you 🤩 we had a great time

We only spent two days at Mel's cottage for a weekend family getaway. The cottage is lovely, very clean, with modern appliances, anything you need is there. There are condiments and tea available which was great. the emplacement of the cottage is very quiet. Mel was also nice to communicate with, she shared some recommendations of the area and was very helpful for any request. Thanks also for the welcome gift nice touch for the kids, and books available which was a good addition to keep them busy in the evening. The beds were comfortable and had good bed linen quality. We had a great weekend and this was exactly what we needed. Thank you Flora

Space was spotless and Mel is very welcoming and flexible. Was a little concerned about noise seeing the surrounding area but no problem, the house is quiet and peaceful.
