The pictures don’t do justice to how beautiful this area is. If you are looking for a place to disconnect from everything and relax and enjoy family this is the perfect spot. Jessica pays attention to all the little details of enjoying the outdoors and providing items to borrow in case you forget something. My family of 4, slept comfortably. I have a 6yo boy and 7yo girl who enjoyed walking by the creek and playing with some of the yard toys. It was chilly and they jumped right in. They said it felt like a real life video game 😅 we spent most of our time outdoors by the fire. The neighbors were friendly some stopped by to chat. There are 2 dogs that came from up the road barked and finally came up to us for some belly rubs. We took lots of pictures and had many laughs. We will definitely be back this summer.

Jessica and her family responded on really short notice to our one night request. This is a tiny place but clean and cozy and just right for what we needed (safety from storms!) It was really well placed, within distance of two wonderful natural spots, Grandfather Mountain and a state park and even a supermarket was just a few minutes drive away! It was also, and importantly, great value for money. Thank you o much.

Great stay, we stayed there with 2 kids and 3 little dogs. The fireplace next to the stream was great but the cushions were dirty and sandy and there were couple cans and cigarette butts in and around the fireplace. Overall was a great getaway and would stay again
