Everything was excellent here. They really did a great job making it comfortable to move right in. Everything was labeled and easy to find for cooking. Instructions were thorough and helpful. The property itself is beautiful and private if far away from the nearest store. Plenty to do in nature and at the house itself like sit by the campfire, admire nature from the hot tub or cook elaborate meals in the large and well equipped kitchen. Definitely recommend.

The place is very clean and cozy. In a beautiful setting. Lots of interesting books and trinkets to look at. We went five couples and had plenty of space both in the common areas, kitchen and reading rooms to hang out together and split up. The backyard is scenic and we enjoyed the sound of the brook. We didn’t get the chance to use the jacuzzi, but if it was winter we would totally have done so. Kitchen was super comfortable and well stocked. Considerate hosts that left enough coffee and other things for our group. Check out instructions super easy! Would definitely recommend and stay there again. Julie
We had a wonderful stay here! The scenery was beautiful, the house was open and spacious and had all of the amenities you could ask for! Great location near many trail heads and down the street from West Kill Brewery. The hosts were super responsive and helpful. Highly recommend for girls trip/couples/families - lovely home!
Our group of 8 had a great time staying at the Fox and Quail for a long Fourth of July weekend. The house was very clean on arrival and the space couldn’t be more comfortable. We used the great outdoor fire pit area, enjoyed the large deck with sofas/hot tub and swam in the pond. The kitchen is very well stocked with quality cooking/serving tools and communal spices/basics. Though it’s a bit of a drive to the closest towns for groceries/restaurants/etc., the home is so comfortable and landscape so beautiful, we were happy to spend time just relaxing at the house.

I'm from Brazil originally and grew up in New York City. My wife Lindsay grew up in Evanston, a suburb of Chicago. We lived for many years in NYC, a few years in New Orleans, and now call the Hudson Valley home. We love to travel, cook for friends, explore new neighborhoods by bike and by foot, and take our kids to the petting zoo in Kingston. We’re both real estate agents at Upstate Down.
