This was such a beautifully renovated old building with so much character! The carport came in handy with the storms that blew through. The Gap Mercantile 2 buildings down is definitely worth checking out! It felt like stepping back in time to my childhood on trips with my dad.

A fun, exciting, comfortable, unique experience! Had a great time all around for this family of 4 (2 younger boys). 14 year old stayed in the guest room and 11 year old on the roll-away bed in the living room. The kitchen/bathroom was great: well-stocked. The living room was cozy, an awesome location to be in the country and with history. Not too far from Hot Springs which is a must-visit. Super close to Crystal Vista Trails which is where we went free crystal hounding. Close to all of the other pay mines as well. Crooked Creek Falls was interesting - tough drive, made it in the VW Atlas but would have preferred 4-wheel drive. Didn't venture to eating out because the kitchen was perfect for meals but stopped at the mercantile shop twice for sodas and some fun souvenirs. Overall a great 2024 Eclipse visit on top of the mountain!

Our stay at the Bank of Caddo Gap was everything we expected and more! Our hosts were available to answer all of our questions and the amenities were plentiful. The price was right and we would definitely stay here again. Thank you for providing us with a fantastic Airbnb!
