Wonderful getaway! Perfect home to keep everyone happy. The entire island is so quiet and serene. Most defiantly will be back.

My wife and I enjoyed a relaxing weekend getaway in this house. You are literally a few steps away from the beach! We had a great time and the beach felt extremely quiet due to the off season. The kitchen was well stocked, we brought groceries and cooked throughout the week. There’s a few local restaurants but your options are limited. We were also allowed to bring our dog for a small fee, he too had a blast. Overall we would recommend this location. The previous review was correct that the deck is on the older side; it was sturdy with no concerns aside from splinters. Thank you for the much needed “babymoon”, we hope to visit again!

The house is closer to the beach than the pictures show! The house had everything plus what you needed. It did not disappoint and we would come back.

We love Dauphin Island! The houses being right on the water with private beach spots are perfect. But, this particular house had a couple down sides for us. First, none of the furniture was very comfortable. Mainly the living room couches and porch chairs were not great. The part we were very disappointed in was the deck itself. Everyone tripped over warped boards several times, my dad sat in a chair and the leg went through the boards almost making him fall from a tall chair, then my toddler got a huge splinter that was very traumatic to dig out. We have used Dauphin Island Rentals several times and will continue to, but we will look for a different house next year.
