Such a perfect, beautiful, peaceful home created by Lanie herself. Kids, dogs and all of us enjoyed the garden and cozy home so much. Love this place! Definitely be back.

Die Kuierhuis has everything you could possibly need for a very comfortable stay away from home. Bean to cup coffee machine, big gas stove and oven, inside wood burning fireplace and inside and outside braai. The house is perfect for relaxing, cooking and braaiing or just chilling on the stoep. Lanie also offered that we could stay later on the day of checkout and was very responsive when we had any questions during our stay.

We felt home immediately at Die Kuierhuis. Lanie, our host, left us a personalised welcome note with all the information we needed. The house is walking distance from the charming centre of Stanford village. We enjoy making food and Die Kuierhuis certainly lends itself to cooking! The kitchen is spacious and extremely well-equipped. The open plan living/dining room is welcoming and comfortable, with a woodburning stove. When you are lounging in the cosy living room after a long late lunch, gloomy weather is of no concern. The bedrooms are spacious and two of the four are ensuite with the last two sharing a bathroom. Every bedroom has a door leading to the outside area. The garden is lush and the stoep entices you to spend hours either lazing on the couch, reading or sitting around the table having a sundowner and shooting the breeze with friends. Lanie’s background and experience in interior design is clearly visible in literally every corner of this stunningly stylish house.
