This was our second time staying at the Art Studio. The hosts are wonderful and the grounds are even better than the pictures!

What a wonderful home to stay in. We were in the quaint little Art Studio, which has some of Janet’s personal work, beautiful windows overlooking the property and a view of the beach, a little kitchenette and single bathroom. Photos are accurate representations! This house and garden is stunning, in only a few words! Check in was easy— not “contactless” in our experience, which I loved. We felt right at home, owners invited us in and gave us the keys. Amenities included: Pool and patio spaces shared by others in the villa, Air conditioning, fans, chairs and an umbrella to take to the beach… honestly all around the best stay! We will be back! Muchas Gracias!!!

Incredible airbnb experience! Max and Janet have a dream property and we loved our stay in the art studio. The pool and grounds are incredible with gardens stretching on and on and the best sunset views! We didn't mind the walk to town as it was nice to stretch the legs out before/after surfing and exploring town.

I debated between this unit at the top of the hill or one of the units at street level, and I'm glad I chose this one. It was very hot during our stay, and the breeze at the top of the hill plus being right by the pool was lovely. It's also much quieter at the top of the hill away from street noise. The art studio unit is spacious, has all the equipment you might need including drinking water, pots, pans, tupperware, beach towels, etc. The bed is quite firm. There is a shady seating area right outside the door with a great view. The pool and Janet's gardens are lovely. This is technically a lower unit of the main house but it feels very separate. Tradeoffs with this location: it is a climb up the hill from town, 150 stairs, not a big deal for us but even then we didn't want to do it 5x per day in the heat. The pool is for use of everyone on the property, and one afternoon some teenagers were a bit noisy. But on the whole it was peaceful and quiet. I would happily stay here again.

Spectacular. Max and Janet have such a lovely property and we so enjoyed the gardens and pool during our stay! Close enough to town to walk in without issue, but far enough to have more space and privacy! Would return without hesitation :)
