Had a fabulous weekend. Would definitely recommend this little luxury cabin. Everything we asked for a peaceful relaxed time. Spotless and so comfy. Cannot wait to go back.

We had a fantastic stay at Mackie lodge. Fiona and Steve were so welcoming, friendly and helpful. The lodge was absolutely immaculate. Great location for exploring Loch Lomond and the bath was perfect after a long walk! Would love to stay here again!

Mackie Lodge is the perfect escape and retreat from everyday life. Secluded and peaceful, the beautiful views are just a bonus alongside the immaculate and well thought out space. Contemporary and modern but without compromising on comfort and luxury, we found this an amazing base to spend a couple of nights. If the weather is good, make the most of the garden and listen to the birds and enjoy the tranquility, and then when it gets a bit too cold cosy up inside with the fire on. Don’t miss the chance to have an outside bath (sheltered!) too, I did while it was pouring with rain and it was the most wonderful experience. The kitchen is super well appointed for such a small space, and the bed and sofa are a delight to rest in. An absolutely outstanding lodge and we had the best weekend there. Fiona and Stephen are warm, welcoming hosts and can’t do enough to help you. My only regret in writing this review is that more people might try to book it which will make it harder for us next time!

Fiona was simply amazing! Her property was impeccable, beautiful, alluring, well furnished and designed, and kept to pristine condition. The furnishing and decor are exquisite, especially when you consider this is a cabin. It was EXTREMELY clean and we had all we could ever need, it literally felt like home away from home, only this time it had a bit more to go with it. Fiona was extremely helpful and went over and beyond, I even got perks way above my money's worth, but that's not all, her and her husband Stephen (a true gentleman) literally blew us away with their hospitality, care and warmth. It does not get any better than this I assure you, and these 2 make the world go round perfectly; it was a pleasure to get to meet them If you are looking for something magical for you and your other half, look no further. We intend to return here over and over, and maybe someday beat these lovely couple on the micro-mini golf course on the lodge..haha, yes, it has one too
