Surrounded by conservation areas, great for fishing, scalloping, snorkeling, kayaking, and more! Quiet location in walking distance to the best restaurant in town, and quick access to the marina, stores, and excursions. Plenty of parking , and boat launch at marina down the street. Our cozy 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom cottage is a waterfront property on the community's residential canal. This lil' gem is able to fit up to 4 people comfortably furnished with one king size bed and one queen size bed. Inside the kitchen, you'll find it fully stocked with all silverware, pots, pans, and plates you need to cook dinner from scratch. Perfect for after a day of scalloping or fishing! The kitchen is tastefully decorated with granite counter tops, island with stove, large sink, and dishwasher. There is a stackable washer and dryer in large closet just off of the kitchen. The living room is furnished with a flat screen Smart TV and plenty of comfy seating. The bathroom offers a double sink, large soaking tub, and a walk-in shower with hair dryer, bath soap, shampoo, and conditioner provided. The back yard is a favorite! The back porch is perfect for cooking out with an outdoor dining table that sits up to 6, and large gas/charcoal grill. Enjoy hanging out by the firepit, or go for a cruise from the canal in one of our kayaks. There is also a crab shack out back by the canal perfect for cleaning scallops or fish after a day on the water. If it’s scalloping you’re looking for, the keys are a great location that allows for quick access to scalloping both to the north and south of Ozello as well as plenty of public access to surrounding waters. Citrus county offers 3 months of scalloping from July through September! The marina is just down the street, or if you bring or rent a shallow boat, kayak, or the like, launch those from the Ozello Marina and dock in our backyard. This area is known for fishing, redfish and snook. Plenty of parking at the cottage. If you're looking for those adorable manatees, their peak season is between November and April. Three Sisters Springs and Homosassa Springs are both excellent spots to enjoy them and are only a 15 minute drive from our cottage. You’ve got all you need on the island, but follow the Ozello trail and soon you will be ported back to the hustle and bustle of US highway 98/19 with handfuls of must savor nature trips.
