Painters Cottage is set in the beautiful small rural village of North Perrott in the English county of Somerset, which lies just one mile off the Dorset border. A two bedroom, country cottage, sleeps four maximum, with a rural feel but with everything required for modern living. Designed as a country romantic retreat for couples or base for families. Great location for exploring lots of country walks attractions. Nearest beach West Bay just 14 miles away. Nearest town Crewkerne 2 miles. Beautiful Painters Cottage is on one floor. The bedrooms are comfortable and well furnished and have high quality beds and bed linens. The kitchen is fully equipped for everything you may need to be self contained. I provide extras such as beach towels, picnic basket, bbq and offer welcome treats on arrival including milk ,tea, coffee and snacks. Roll top bath and showers. M&S toiletries provided Private walled garden front with orchard view and rear not over looked ideal morning coffee or evening glass of wine. . Open plan lounge 44 inch Tv ideal for the family. Fire pit and BBQ available. Private parking.

Had such a wonderful family weekend at Painters - perfect for the the family (including a 13 and 11 year old and dog). Victoria was the perfect host - great communication, really accommodating and the treats on arrival were much appreciated. Painters is immaculate, has everything you could possibly need, and is surprisingly private. Great location for exploring the local area and just a short trip to various Dorset beaches. Would highly recommend and would love to return for a longer stay.
What a beautiful cottage complete with all amenities you could need for a stay. Victoria is an amazing host , very friendly and communicative . The little touches of fresh flowers, basket of goodies and doggy treats were very well received. The cottage is in a beautiful quiet location with a enclosed garden perfect for furry friends. The cottage is extremely clean and very well equipped. Victoria really has thought of everything! Thank you and we would definitely stay again .

I can't speak highly enough of this cottage, the location or Victoria. its a beautiful place in a great setting with the perfect host. Victoria made us feel so welcome and was always on hand to offer any help or recommendations. I'd recommend this place to anyone, couldn't have been any better.
Victoria made us all welcome and it was especially nice that our dog was not just permitted but actively welcomed. The cottage is in a beautiful secluded spot, very peaceful. It was clean, spacious and attractively decorated and looked just like the photos. The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom had a good shower and huge bath and the kitchen was very well equipped. Victoria generously provided bread, milk, butter, tea, coffee and snacks. Outside the back door was a hosepipe supplying warm water so we could clean the mud off our dog - very useful. We had a very happy stay in this delightful cottage.

A beautiful very small historic friendly rural village. A private no through road, sharing with 2 pretty thatched cottages We are the end of the row. The cottage has a beautiful secluded garden front and rear and over looks a private orchard, it has its own private parking for one car, further parking can be provided on request. You enter the property by a private entrance, your own front door. The village public house The Manor Arms is a very quick walk just over the road with its wood beams and wood burning fire. The village garden shop is a short walk away, offering wonderful locally sourced produce and a small friendly cafe, serving light bites and delicious cakes. Close to many tourist hot spots, so a great location to visit Somerset, Dorset or maybe a trip to a few of our local beaches. Crewkerne Station nearby if you want a car free break, I can collect you from the train station and take you back for return journey. I do allow 2 dogs who are the part of the family but ask that they are not left alone in the property unsupervised as I offer to house dogs for the amazing walks and dog friendly places to eat.
We have a train station in Crewkerne 2 miles away from Painters. The local taxis must be pre booked before arrival. Host is available for some time collections ,please email host availability and times. Please note being a small rural village, bus times are limited. Any questions please email your host for further information and services. A taxi round trip to the Haselbury Mill is approximately £8 each way, this may also be booked through your host. I can provide maps to walk about this beautiful village to see its rich history and amazing buildings. Walking routes are also available.

I have lived in this beautiful rural village for 26 years and wouldn't want to live any where else. with its history and amazing walks. I love the countryside, and nature, a trip to the sea and a good wholesome pub meal and a glass of wine, easy living. I am very appreciative of a clean and well presented home. I also love travelling and meeting new people, so have been fortunate to have many interesting places around the world.
