If you want to escape the crazy busy city life or are just looking for a weekend in close contact with nature book your stay here now. We had the most amazing 2 days here in this beautiful place. Check in was really smooth, we were welcomed by Sharon who showed us round. She had already started the fire for us so the hut was lovely and warm. This place has everything you need; they thought of every fine detail to make your stay the best experience. We loved waking up in the morning to the sound of birds ( the bed was really comfortable!!), going on small day trips to the coast to then come back in the afternoon and relax here. The hammock was my favourite.

My girlfriend and I had an absolutely amazing stay at Robert's shepherd's hut. We received a warm welcome with clear instructions on how to use all of the amenities. The place was warm and pristine, with views that far exceed the pictures online. We would recommend this gem to anyone, and plan to revisit soon ourselves.

I cannot thank Robert and Sharon enough for our incredible stay. My partner and I spent two nights at this beautiful hut. We arrived later that expected and was greeted by Sharon and shown around. It looked just magical arriving at night with all the lights on, the fire had been made up and on before our arrival so we had hot water that evening for the bath (what a treat). Waking up and being able to take in the beauty and serenity of our surroundings in the daylight was amazing. Despite there being many recommendations on things to do nearby we didn’t want to miss a moment of our stay. We enjoyed and appreciated all the extra personal touches: Pancake mix for pancake day and chocolate hearts for valentines. As well as all homemade and local goodies. The banana bread was delicious! The cabin itself was well equipped and we cooked outside in the first night in the fire pit. A most magical stay and we will definitely be back again. Thank you, Charlotte and Josh xxx

wow what a special place! We couldn’t have picked a better place to have seen the new year in! An absolute home from home. If you are looking for a true escape from the madness of life then Robert’s is the place to be! it’s not often you get to experience just pure peace the kind of peace where your mind is finally quite, we got to experience just that while we had our stay at Robert’s. The miles of country side on your door step is simply gorgeous. The landscape around Robert’s equally as gorgeous, listening to the birds, watching the squirrels and listening to the rain was so soothing. Robert already had the fire going for us on arrival which made the hut so cosy with lot of lovely fresh produce left waiting for us as well (thank you). It really exceeded any expectations we had, the bed was extremely comfortable. We will definitely be back! We look forward to experiencing Robert’s place in every season. Thank you again!
