We had a truly wonderful time at Abbey Cottage - it had everything we needed and more! Anne's even thought of compiling a thick ledger with millions of really useful tipps for excursions and things to do. The cottage itself has been lovingly restored, so that it hasn't lost its charme, feeling warm and comfortable. Even doing the dishes was a treat, with a great view out into the lovely wild garden. We very much enjoyed having our coffee outside, next to lavender bushes buzzing with bees. The beds are very comfortable and the village is peaceful and quiet, perfect to relax, especially after a long day hiking or looking at cathedrals etc. We really felt at home and will need to come back!

Our trip to Montacute cottage was brilliant. The location was perfect for visiting different places in Somerset. The accommodations were very comfortable, clean and everything needed was supplied. The garden and views were stunning, so highly recommend this for an adventure or even a quick stay.
