The lodge and nearby cabins were spectacular! Gwen’s friendliness and enthusiasm were a delight after a challenging day cycling. We loved sitting above the stream, just missing a battle between Bald Eagles but did see one flying solo later. A flock of ducks (species to be identified later) were fishing below us. Gwen went out of her way to make sure we had the groceries and supplies we needed. We’ll absolutely be back to enjoy the property and reconnect with a perso we now consider a friend.

It's actually nicer than what you see in the photos. She has lots of future plans that she told us all about. We will definitely go back to see what it will look like in the future. She has a friendly groundskeeper, friendly dog and two playful friendly cats also.

BOOK THIS PLACE NOW. There is a special magic to this place. The photos cannot do justice to the beauty of this location. Gwen is a warm and welcoming host. I felt right at home at The Lodge at Water's Edge. I will return as soon as possible!
