Beautiful Lakefront home, perfect get away

Very peaceful and private. We really enjoyed the waves crashing and the cool lake breeze at night. My kids enjoyed the tiny private beach and wave jumping. Juan was very responsive. I would definitely rent again.

We had a very enjoyable 7-night stay at Juan’s place. It was very convenient to Chicago (45 min drive for us) and the weather was great, a welcome 10 degrees cooler than nearby areas that are not so close to the lake. Juan’s place is literally on Lake Michigan, which was wonderful. We used the backyard extensively. There is a sea wall in the back yard (which is needed because the waves can get pretty high). It wasn’t the greatest view if you’re sitting down, but from the house and walking around outside, the views can’t be beat. The kitchen is small, but well stocked. Bathrooms were very clean and accommodated the four of us (plus two dogs). It’s about a 15 min drive to shopping and the street is on a dead end road, which makes for little traffic (and noise). Overall, we very much enjoyed our stay and Juan was responsive to all of our needs.

A wonderful weekend getaway! The house is spacious and clean with beautiful views. Great location close to restaurants & shopping.

Beautiful location, comfortable home with many updates - lots of light. Surrounded by nature, saw many birds and other wildlife. Truly enjoyed walking by the water in the mornings and listening to the waves in the evenings. Amazing place to recharge!
