Marlene was a great host. She gave clear instructions on how to find and access the cottage. It would be tricky to find if you arrive after dark though.

our group (8 adults + 1 kid) had a lovely stay at Don & Marlene's. We lucked out with the weather, hot days and cool evenings - lots of water activities with Canoe, SUP, kayak, paddleboat and of course just jumping off the double dock! We enjoyed bonfire in the evenings. The kitchen had everything we needed, plus plenty of drinking water, and welcome chocolates. We enjoyed having a conversation with Don & Marlene and loved hearing about the process of building their cottage on their own! The lake is beautiful, the pictures don't do it justice. It is quiet, secluded, and friendly gracious neighbors . The beds were comfortable and 3 full clean bathrooms made it easy to get ready or clean up. We are hoping to visit again during the winter!
