Rosa was an incredible host. Very communicative, friendly and resolved any questions or issues we had immediately. The cottage is located in a great area, walking distance to the beach, 15 min drive into Sintra, Cascais, beach sights, Convento das Capuchus, etc. We felt very safe and I walked to the beach and back almost every day. We were staying at the cottage for a month and working PDT hours at night. The cottage was smaller than we expected and a bit more rustic than we anticipated. The kitchen and bathroom could use some renovations. The couch needs to be replaced (very uncomfortable and difficult to sit on). But, Rosa really made every effort to ensure our stay was fantastic. Overall we were very happy on our month adventure to Casa Sete Mares!

This was one of the best holiday stays we've ever had! Rosa was so warm and welcoming that we immediately felt at home. And throughout our extended stay she was always friendly, helpful and responsive. The cottage was just right for our needs and really well equipped (unlike most holiday rentals that tend to have just enough to get by). The courtyard area out front catches plenty of sun (which was much needed after the long grey British winter). And on top of all that, the swimming pool is really nice with palm trees and a view of the nearby hills. We didn't know much about the area before we arrived but grew to love it as we discovered all it has to offer: amazing produce at the local market (Mercado do Praia das Macas), the beaches (Pria das Macas, Praia Grande, or any of the others) and the Sintra hills. We ate out quite a lot and the food ranged from good (as a minimum) to some of the best of all time. We are already planning our next trip back.

We don’t think we ever had a host like Rosa. She is really special. It was like being welcomed home after a long journey. Very warm and friendly but not intrusive. Will definitely be returning.

Séjour parfait sur cet automne, maison très bien située, a une dizaine de minutes a pieds du centre et de la plage. Mention spéciale pour l'accueil particulièrement chaleureux de Rosa, les informations fournies et toutes les petites attentions!
