Great location! Just up the hill from montezuma and a much more affordable location being so close to Santa Teresa . Only a 30 min drive if you want to switch up the restaurant choices. Also very close to Cabayu, a little town that has a ton of hidden gems. For someone who has been to Costa Rica 4 times, Kris was one of the most helpful hosts. She made traveling to a new place I had never been much smoother , with no time wasted being able to jump right into all the Nicoya peninsula had to offer . Also the ac is amazing in this house as well as the WiFi. We had monkeys coming up to us in the back yard eating mango’s off the mango tree , taking right out of our hands. This modern house tucked away in nature has a little bit of everything you could ask for.

The house was very clean when we arrived. Kris’s home is beautifully decorated and very comfortable for 6 (3 couples). We very munch enjoyed the big windows and slider doors to enjoy all the wildlife. The house is also a perfect quick 5 minute drive into downtown Montezuma. We would definitely stay again! Thank you Kris

Kris’s home was fabulous…nicely appointed, fully stocked, and spotlessly clean! In our many years of traveling the world, her home certainly ranks among the best! We loved watching the resident iguana sun itself by the beautiful pool, then jump onto the hammock, facilitating its climb to the Monkey tree! Really a treat! Montezuma is a short 5 minute drive from the house! With a great hippie vibe and laidback feel, you’ll find great restaurants, miles of unspoiled beaches, and shops and groceries! If you go early in the morning, you’re sure to see howlers and capuchins, and birds are plentiful. Kris provides a binder with suggestions for dining, sightseeing, and where to find the best beaches! She was a perfect host, always available to answer any question we had during our two week stay! It was an absolute pleasure staying at Villa Kasa Kahlo! Ocean views, jungle setting, safe neighborhood, nearby funky town, and pristine beaches…just spectacular! Thank you Kris!
