Marina’s place was beautiful and was well fitted out. She left us with more than we needed to make our stay feel like home. She was really responsive when we had a problem. Note: The neighborhood is under development. We didn’t find it particularly walkable yet but there was so much within a few minutes drive we didn’t find it inconvenient. We enjoyed the hike to Lera cave at Santos beach and the day at Balos beach (the road was treacherous but worth it). Marina had many good suggestions but we didn’t have time for them all. We loved the outdoor space and used the bbq for cooking meals. We would have liked to stay longer to see more.

A lovely property for an extended stay - unfortunately we were there in the middle of a heat wave, so were not able to make much use of the outdoor facilities during our stay. Note that the property is quite secluded - although you can walk to a nearby beach and restaurants in 10 minutes, you will need a car to get elsewhere.

We loved every minute we spent in this villa! It was exactly what we needed after traveling for a week and a half. You wake up and see the ocean, the house is super clean, brand new, very spacious, with a everything needed to relax, cool, drink wine, even play piano! The outdoors is beautiful and we were lucky to be able to pick lime and pomegranates from the outside! It is 15 minutes from old town chania and you will have several beaches really close by. If we ever come back to Crete we will come back and stay in this magical place. Marina thank you for great hospitality

The villa is new with a great location, in a very quiet and secluded place. The host responded instantly even though we booked last minute. On my next visit to the island, I won't have to look for new places to stay. I highly recommend !

My family and I have stayed in over 35 Airbnb’s worldwide and we had the pleasure of being Marias first Airbnb guests in her wonderful newly built home. Her property manager Mariana is a fantastic manager who caters to your every need and makes sure you are well taken care of to enjoy your stay. When we arrived, we were pleasantly surprised, a welcome bottle of wine and water, as well some fresh local fruits and snacks awaited us. A lovely touch after our long journey to Crete and often a rarity in an Airbnb today. The villa is located in a small village that hosts many shops, restaurants, pharmacies, and grocery stores. It’s secluded for privacy yet within a 5-minute drive to the village, the local beach, and 20 minutes to Chania. We loved the quiet and privacy aspect of the location yet the convenience of having everything else easily accessible by car. The villa was spotless and is tastefully and comfortably decorated, the kitchen is well stocked, there is a new gas BBQ, the beds and pillows are comfortable with expensive duvets and cotton linens. The bathrooms are very large with wonderful thick cotton towels, an array of toiletries available and great water pressure. There is also a new washer plus a dryer which you seldom see in the EU. We loved the villa so much that we extended our stay to spend another night sitting outside enjoying the quiet, the sea view and the stars. Thank you, Maria and Mariana, for a wonderful stay and looking forward to our return!
