Casa Libelula is a beautiful beach house, in on of the best location in town, where you can enjoy a quiet, safe environment, surrounded by nature and designed to spend a beautiful vacation. Thanks to our location, you will be able to see the real locals of the beach, from birds like macaws to howler monkeys, so you can enjoy the beauty of nature without having to leave home and we are only 5 min (15 min walk) away from one of the best beaches in the country, Playa Avellanas! Casa Libelula , is a beautiful beach house, fully equipped, with private pool, surrounded by nature, so it gives the feeling of being in an oasis, we can often observe the flora and fauna of the place, monkeys, macaws, iguanas, butterflies and of course dragonflies, is the perfect place to spend a wonderful vacation. Playa Avellanas has a unique beauty, from trails in the middle of mangroves, to charming restaurants in its surroundings, white sand, and sunsets that you will never forget. You will have the possibility to enjoy a great variety of outdoor activities (surf lessons, canopy, quad bike tours, horseback riding, boat trips where you will see incredible beaches and islands, among others...). Thanks to the great location that we enjoy you can make short trips by car that will take you to areas where you can meet new beaches, volcanoes, rafting through the magical rivers of Costa Rica, visit hot springs and if you are looking for something more than nature, we are 30 minutes away from the most active city of Guanacaste, Tamarindo is an area that has many activities, restaurants, bars, nightclubs...

The place was fantastic. Coming as two separate levels/places, with the downstairs having one bedroom with queen bed, full kitchen and bathroom, and living room, and the upstairs having two bedrooms and 3 beds (1 single, one full, one king), a large living room with floor to ceiling windows, a full bathroom and kitchen, with separate keyed door entries to each place. Each room in both places had individually controllable in wall A/Cs (with remotes), and the place is obviously a fairly new build, with great new windows and kitchen and bathroom fixtures. Both places have enormous walk-in showers, and it has a private pool, grill, outdoor shaded furnished lounge, and secure parking. It's a short walk to a great beach that has good surf. At the beach you can find surf lessons/rentals, coconut drink vendors, lounge chairs with umbrellas, and several good restaurants that will bring drinks and food to your chair. There is a charming open air multi-stall market a short walk from the beach.

Casa Avellanas was very nice. Peaceful. House was clean with lots of natural light. Bedrooms were spacious with closets. Felt very safe there in the gated community. Pool was clean and nicely sizes. Washer/dryer was a plus. Short drive to the beach. Across the driveway was a great place to rent surfboards, restaurant and a fun walk to the beach through the Mangroves. Perfect for surfing! Had a relaxing stay there. Thank you!!

the place was lovely. The street to get to the location isn't in the best condition, but my 4x2 got there without issues. 2 kitchens, a beautiful view, a private pool, quiet, ... the beach at a walkable distance. Already planning the next visit

It is a private property, perimeter wall in its entirety. This house is located 5 minutes from the beach by car or 15 minutes walking. To get to Casa Libelula, the road is gravel, but it is passable by any type of vehicle. In the community there are a variety of restaurants, 1 mini super, pharmacies and medical centers are located in the neighboring community of Playa Tamarindo. Within the property there are 5 houses, one of them is for the maintenance staff.

出行信息

The best way to get to Casa Libélula and be able to move in the area is by car.
Currently the street is ballast (dirt), and any car (high/low) will be able to enter without a problem.
However, I always recommend an SUV or a taller car.
