The most wonderful place to stay, the best airbnb we have ever visited, in every respect. We cannot recommend it highly enough. After initially balking at the price, I was won over by the location and facilities, all of which lived up to and way exceeded the pictures and description. The most lovely, open, clean, warm, comfortable spacious house with truly amazing views over Clew Bay, a wonderful place to relax watching the ever changing sky, sea, islands and birds from the dining huge windows. Very much a home rather than a typically sterile airbnb with books, beautiful pictures, games, inviting settees, lovely cotton linen, supremely well equipped kitchen, welcoming in every respect, a great place to explore the area. We could happily have spent the rest of our lives here, the only drawback was having to leave.

The views are stunning. The house is well equipped with all you would need for a great stay. It was great to be able to bring our doggy. However, the house could use some updating in places. We picked it at it was advertised as beach front but the nearest access to the water is more of an inlet than a beach. The closest beach is in Mulranny approx 7 kms away. All in all it was a pleasant stay.

Alex’s place was amazing. The view from the kitchen was stunning and it was lovely to sit and just take it in. Alex was very quick to respond to messages. The house was very spacious and comfortable. It was so nice to be able to find a pet friendly listing and our dog really enjoyed having so much space to roam around and so many things to sniff!! It’s a great base if you want to bring your furry friend and close to Mulranny, Newport and Westport
