We had a great time at the lake house! It was clean and private but within walking distance to town, which was a plus. The canoe and kayaks were a fantastic amenity, so we didn't have to rent from town. The beds were comfortable and the upstairs attic bunkroom had an AC unit. Highly recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay at Geoff and Kathryn's home in Long Lake. Our two young children loved the second floor space that felt secret and special, and my partner and I loved the comfortable bed and peaceful view from the master bedroom. We spent most of our time swimming off the dock, enjoying meals outside and listening to the great music collection in the house. Due to the heavy rains in the area this summer, the beach was underwater, but the hosts had the dock moved up to the stairs so we had direct access to the water, which was great. Long Lake is a great central location for so many Adirondack activities. About 30 minutes to Tupper Lake and 15 minutes to Blue Mountain Lake. Tons of hiking, including several peaks with fire towers (if you're interested in the fire tower challenge). We loved staying here and would highly recommend it to others.

everything about the sweet adeline lake house is very very thoughtfully done. the place is well equipped for a trouble-free, relaxing stay. geoff and kathryn are responsive, friendly and conscientious hosts. i would absolutely stay here again!

My family and I stayed at Geoff and Kathryn's lake house for the first time this summer. We have been going to Long Lake for decades, but this was our first time staying in an AirBnb. The location of the house was perfect - close enough to walk to town, but also private and with lake access. The house itself was lovely, with incredible attention to detail and beautiful curated decor. We had so much fun admiring the vintage pieces and interior design. The house was very clean and well stocked with anything guests may need. The hosts had prepared a detailed guidebook of home amenities and local activities, such as dining, hiking, and fishing spots. Geoff and Kathryn were extremely prompt and responsive to any questions. Overall, it was a great experience!
