The house and the soundings are beautiful, comfortable and serene. We loved the pond and the two kayaks. The living and dining rooms are large, kitchen too, which was also well equipped. We and the kids enjoyed the room with the box games, books and magazines. The upper unit was exquisite, spacious bedroom and bathroom. The large windows gave us the feeling of blending with the woods. The couple that takes care of the house was helpful. Two critical points though, in the upper bedroom there is hard to control fan heater and the mattresses in the lower two bedrooms are old uncomfortable and need to be replaced. All in all, we had a memorable stay in the Adirondacks during foliage time also thanks to this place.

Our family really enjoyed this stay. We were outdoors most of the time and came back to the cottage and did a lot of swimming and kayaking. Tracey was a great host and very responsive. We highly recommend this place for your next trip to Long Lake. Convenient to many mountain trails and a cool town to be in! We will be back!

The Boyd’s house was the perfect place for our annual Adirondack getaway. We’ve been vacationing in the area for several years and this is the best place we’ve found in the area. The house is cozy and inviting, with everything you need. The property is also private with a beautiful waterside dock. We enjoyed fishing, stargazing, snd making fires. The host provided all the details in advance which was very helpful. Highly recommend!
