This is a wonderful cabin for a nature getaway. The self check in was seamless and host made us feel right at home with proactive communication including tips as well as some welcome treats upon check in. The cabin itself is beautifully designed, brand new and well kept. It is compact, great for small group or family, however it is really well designed and throughout making effective use of every space. We had all we needed and were very comfortable. The property itself is situated on a lake with private access, giving both peaceful views but amazing outdoor ambiance. The area itself is awesome, relatively short drives to lots of attractions, multiple lakes and trials within the vicinity, and 1 hr drive to Lake Placid make for a fun day trip as well. We got to experience nature, confront, northern lights, and totality of the solar eclipse all from the cabin! Highly recommend for all seasons of the year!

We ran into some issues with the plumbing due to cold weather (out of anyone’s control, just bad luck with weather) but the host was incredibly accommodating and responsive and we were still very happy with our stay. The space was beautiful and we will definitely be staying there again in the future! Highly recommend this space!

Stayed for a week at the property (Feb 2024) and had an amazing time. The lake is beautiful and the location is quiet and private. We were hoping to spend a couple days skiing and a couple days "snowed in" and this place didn't disappoint. If you enjoy winter sports, Gore Mountain and Whiteface (Lake Placid) are easy drives from the cabin. Spent a day at each after a nice snow. There are also quite a few hiking trails, boat launches, and other activities in the area. There were a couple very good local restaurants that were open in the winter (seemed like there were a few more options in the summer). We had good options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The house itself was clean and had plenty of supplies for bathroom and kitchen. It was really nice to cook on a gas stove in a rental. The bathrooms are clean and the property feels very new. Overall it was a wonderful trip in a great location. THANK YOU!!!

Mark was amazing. We pretty much became friends after talking fishing etc. Mark was very attentive to anything and everything in the house. We had a problem with the original coffee maker, and Mark had someone show up the next day with a brand new one. The gentleman even offered to set it up etc!!! Mark knew I was there with my wife and daughter so made sure everything was safe and set for my little one as well. The place is beyond beautiful and I will be back very soon. We communicated so well that possibly Mark and myself will be ice fishing next time together!! Cheers Mark and thank you man!

Had a great time with friends and the host was very responsive. Amazing location and view of the lake, allowing us to do high peaks not too far away.
