Minouk’s place was absolutely wonderful and she was an incredible host. Every day she shared new recommendations and that, combined with the location of her home, made us feel more like we were seeing Amsterdam as locals rather than tourists. In addition, her home set up - with the downstairs having space for light workouts and kids games and a backyard plus an upstairs with two spaces for dining l, meant it was spacious enough to hang out in when it was raining out. Would definitely go back and stay again.

WOW. WOW. WOW. This wasn't just the nicest AirBnB we've ever stayed in. This was one of the nicest homes we've visited anywhere. Where to begin? Perfect location in the very best part of Amsterdam right on a canal. The apartment is just insanely beautiful and unique and gigantic with a huge courtyard and playroom for the kids. Jaw-dropping architect's renovation of a 1760 canal house. This is a dream house. Must be 4,000 square feet. Our kids (6 & 3) could have spent the whole five days just playing in the playroom and courtyard, except for short breaks to walk a few steps outside for pancakes, apple cake or ice cream. But instead we had an awesome time in Amsterdam every day and night, in part because Minouk, our host, was messaging us daily with fun suggestions for activities, and even hooked us up with her personal boat captain for a three-hour canal tour. The whole experience should be an advertisement for AirBnB -- and Amsterdam!

Spectacular and beautifully decorated canal house, amazingly quiet, yet only steps to dozens of shops and restaurants. A perfect home for our family.
