The Wilmington International Airport is also close (11 mins) as is the Waterfront Park, Wilmington's largest concert venue (11 mins).
Two grocery stores and numerous restaurants are within a 5 minute drive or short walk if necessary. One of Wilmington's top breweries (Wilmington Brewing) is within half a mile and walkable. Overall the residential part of the neighborhood features older craftsman style homes off Wilshire Avenue mixed with 60's-70's brick ranches and duplexes off side streets. Overall, it is a very safe and convenient neighborhood.
For the most part, guests will likely be driving everywhere they want to go although a grocery store and a couple of restaurants are within half a mile. For the most part, parking throughout Wilmington is easy although on busy weekends it can be challenging Downtown (although there are a couple parking decks) and during the summer paid parking a Wrightsville Beach can be tough (message me on that and I will try and point you in the right direction) .
