Du’s apartment was even more astonishing than I expected. It was a little bit difficult to get there because the road with the car was quite narrow. It was worth it! The mosquitoes are not too bad - just had to be careful on the toilet during the evening. The nature is beautiful. And Du is helping you out as quickly as he can. Thanks Du for this experience! He even organized a taxi back for me - and a scooter to rend. Thanks! I wish you just the best.

Beautiful place, surrunded by nature. Everything is made of eco materials with the focus on details and it looks even better than on the pics. Du is an amazing hosts. He can provide great recommendations what to see/do around. You can learn so much from him about the nature and local culture.

Nous avons passé un trop court séjour chez Du ! Il a été très accueillant et le logement correspondait parfaitement à nos attentes. Nous recommandons totalement aux amateurs de tranquillité et du Bali authentique.

Personally the cottage was a bit too open for me, which meant that a lot of insects, geckos and other animals were inside. There were also a lot of mosquitos in the bathroom, which made going to the toilet quite uncomfortable. If you are more used to camping and being around wildlife this might not be an issue for you. Unfortunately we were unable to have a proper sleep because of all the sounds around the cottage. Mainly the roosters and chickens calling at all times, but you could also hear pigs, geckos and music from a neighbor. One thing that was a bit of a surprise for me is that you are unable to lock the cottage, when you are sleeping or leaving during the day. A nice touch was the homemade kombucha, bread and butter. The garden around the cottage is lush and green and you feel surrounded by nature. During our stay Du was very helpful in arranging a scooter for us and really quick to reply. In the area there are two really nice organic farm cafés to visit for food.

Beautiful hidden gem in the middle of nature with an amazing view on the mountains. Great place if you want to experience real Bali. Du is an amazing host and made my stay. I will definitely come back!
