We had a great stay in the jungle, it was so wonderful to see and experience real Bali. We learnt more from Mon and the jungle house in three days than we had learnt the entire time we had visited Bali. The location is magnificent, the view and the treehouse were amazing. The flooring on the top floor was a tiny bit precarious in places, but right after our stay Mon was going to do some repairs and replace this. The food was great- although very Balinese, so if you want western- this may not be the place. We went for a lovely guided tour of the nearby temple- a few really nice walks and overall enjoyed the tropical setting. Would recommend to those who want to see the real Bali!

For the second time, we returned to Bamboo House and found the same peace and tranquility we had experienced before. As a family of five, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay once again, with the kids particularly loving the freedom and natural surroundings. Each day, we were treated to delicious meals prepared just for us. Simon, our exceptional host, truly made our experience unforgettable. The cooking class was a highlight for all of us, allowing each family member to try their hand at cooking. Additionally, the weaving workshop provided a unique experience, challenging our traditional way of thinking with its three-dimensional approach. When our son celebrated his birthday, the staff went above and beyond, and helped us with order and delivery of a fantastic Spider-Man themed cake that tasted divine. Leaving Bamboo House, we felt happy and rejuvenated.

This is not my first time there, was there in 2016 and definitely wanted to come back, a real break from city life and a peaceful setting in the middle of beautiful nature, not for everybody as you must enjoy sleeping with the beautiful sounds of the forest, great walks up to the top of the mountain ( a real hike ) or down the valley where there are stunning temples, no tourists, no discos, no bars but sion there will be Mon’s restaurant , I will be back ..!!

Unique experience. 3 days at the edge of rainforest near a small Balinese village. A must do if you really want to feel real Bali. Simon and all the stuff are great.
