It was really too large for just the two of us, but that’s no fault of the owner. I know there was a lot going on that weekend, which drove a lot of prices of surrounding areas a little higher than normal. But it was nice, and I felt like it was a good value.

The Piedmont was a wonderful surprise for me and my family. The home was very spacious, spotless, and was surrounded by the natural scenery of the Appalachians. I feel like the home was better in person than the photos (not that the photos are lacking). Great spot just 15 minutes from Rocky Mount and 20 minutes from Roanoke, but still secluded and country living. Some of the appliances are a bit dated, but they are all in excellent working order and very clean. The overall layout of the home was perfect for family gatherings, and the nearby cows was a pleasant and welcome surprise. The host was quick to respond to messages and went above and beyond to make our stay as good as it could possibly be. Loved this spot!

Great place with amazing views! Clean and inviting! Sabrina was very responsive to our questions and even included some nice personal touches by leaving some fresh snacks for us. An easy drive to Smith Mountain Lake.
