Anna-Louise was a great host, extremely kind when we had to postpone our stay due to illness especially as it was over Christmas. The rooms were lovely, very comfortable and breakfast was sensational. We had all that we needed and it was a perfect retreat whilst visiting family locally.

We stayed over after enjoying one of Louise's dinners that she hosted for our local Wine Club. Amazing food followed by a peaceful night's sleep in the wonderfully restored Old Wash House. She and her husband are very attentive hosts and we had an excellent stay :-)

Louise was an AMAZING hostess. Her and her husband were very friendly and informative. She had several hot breakfast options, and her three course dinner was better then most restaurants we ran into. The rooms are spacious and quiet. Mom and I got our own rooms, so we had our own beds and bathrooms. View looks out on their manicured croquet (sp?), with plenty of privacy. Breakfast can be served outside or in their dining room, weather dependent. A must stay if you want peace, quiet, and to be doted on.

What a delightful B&B a true place to treasure Great hosts that make you feel so welcome But also private at the same time, a real gem, ok it’s quite rural but that’s perfect. The views from our room was amazing and such a treat for us. Food was superb and very well presented, nothing was too much trouble, we were made to feel very welcome We will be back for sure Thank you to Louise and Hugh.. and little Spud the dog.. you’ve got an amazing home thank you for sharing it with us..
