Compared to what you get for your money at resorts, this place is an incredibly good deal. Walking distance to town centre and if you’re fit enough, walking distance to a car rental place which opens up the rest of the island. Having WIFI and a bbq were the most helpful amenities, I would recommend getting a scooter or a car to avoid long hot walks further afield. Will certainly be recommending this place and aitutaki as a whole.

Maria’s place was so great! We spent the first part of our trip on the lagoon and moving to Maria’s was the perfect way to end the trip. Being close to the main village we saw a wedding, watch some soccer games, and hung out at the wharf. It was really fun to be on the other side of the island. The house had everything we needed and wanted. The bedding was amazing! The internet and AC was a luxury. The blender was a treat! Thanks for everything! We would love to stay again:).

Great location, beautiful view. Great time with peace and quiet. Only worrying was the drive in with pot-holes. Loved it

This is a lovely place to stay and I highly recommend it. It rained a lot the week I was there and I was so content sitting on the big porch just watching the lagoon and the comings and goings of the harbor. For me I was going out on boats so it was ideal for this as I could walk or ride my scooter. Well kept and new construction. Maria was the most helpful host I have ever had. So grateful.

Fantastic location - amazing sunsets. Great place to escape too. Loads of local wildlife & creatures to keep you entertained. Supermarket store within walking distance.
